FOMO PRODUCTS RECOGNIZED FOR EXCELLENCE IN PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
NORTON, OHIO – February 2006 – On February 16, 2006, Fomo Products received an Honorable Mention Award at the eVolution of Manufacturing awards ceremony presented by CAMP, for our new product development in designing the Magnum™ System. The eVolution of Manufacturing program was developed to honor companies that excel in adapting to a changing world. CAMP, , is a non-profit organization known for assisting Northern Ohio manufacturers through business consulting and product development projects, has sponsored eVolution of Manufacturing evening for Other honorees included PartsSource, Rankpak Corp, Shearer’s Foods Inc, Energizer Holdings Inc, Thomas Steel Strip Corp, OEConnection, Bettcher Amherst LLC, Moen Inc, and Energy Wise Systems.
The Honorable Mention was earned due to Fomo’s advancements in technology through the development of the Magnum™ System. With an eye toward new markets, Fomo developed Magnum, a unique dispensing system to be used with Handi-Foam® that eliminated the requirement of using the system in a temperature-controlled environment. Magnum has allowed Fomo to offer this system for other applications and into new marketing, specifically, the new residential home construction market.
